I wasn't able to view the links you provided either, Bana. Sal makes a good point. Our customers invest their money in the idea that they will reach their target audience effectively. The return on the investment they make is what they entrust us to give them. You can't provide that without following some sort of standards.

Not sure if it's just me but I am not able to bring up the links in the begining of your post. :-(
Yea it sure can effect the client if the websites we do for them will only show up in one browser and not the others. Since not everyone uses just that one browser. I guess that is why we are learning on how to learn, so we will be able to keep up with all the changes that are being made as we speak and write. But remember that not just one of us can know everything about our field of work, so we all need to keep in touch and up to date on all this changing technology and guide lines.

I agree I think all of our clients would want there website cross-browser, so we have to follow these web standards. i was thinking as new technology comes out we are going to need new web standards for it, meaning we are going to have to stay up to date on standards
